No longer one of a kind...

In this post I documented our tree falling and clean-up effort. Two months later, we have come to a conclusion to this Dodd-family-calamity saga.

Finally.

I do miss our wood roof because it was rather unique here in Gilmer, but the new one sure looks good. This face lift has given us the 'redo bug' and I've pressure washed a good deal of the remaining cedar left on the house. We have one whole exterior wall of cedar shakes and more cedar in various places. We hope to stain this and repaint the trim for a total exterior house-lift!
